STRENGHTS WEAKNESSESS
  • adequate size for a modern point guard
  • really good explosiveness and excellent stamina
  • excellent court vision and creativity. Can share the ball on the move or in difficult situations
  • great high pick and roll executor. Attacks very well for his left hand. Displays pocket passess in traffic
  • hard to stop in transition while running with the ball at full speed
  • has next level feel for the game
  • possess very good lateral agility and quickness. Difficult to get past off the dribble. Quick hands
  • lacks consistency
  • makes effort to keep all other players involved but really dominates the ball. A bit naive as he tries to do really difficult plays on the court
  • really emotional after bad plays. Sometimes gets frustrated
  • more efficient going to the left
  • can get into the zone but overall good not great shooter. A bit low release
OUTLOOK
True point guard with competitive nature and advanced understanding of the game who moreover displays some scoring instincts. Huge talent on the Polish market and hope of the national senior team. Kolenda has a two year older brother who already plays substantial minutes as a SG in the same club in domestic Top Division. His combo dribble moves and driving ability are definitely joy to watch but he needs to finally become productive day in and day out. Also improve strength to survive against american players on his position at pro basketball.
