About Florian Kurth

Florian Kurth (25 y/o from Würzburg, Germany) is currently our Director of Scouting. He himself has played in the highest German youth leagues and also spent a season with the former Bundesliga team Medi Bayreuth. After it became clear that he would not have a big career, he devoted himself mainly to his studies (International Management), but always remained connected to the sport. On the one hand on the court, of course (4th highest German league) and on the other hand he worked as a freelance journalist for the largest European basketball website BasketNews.com (initially as transfer specialist, then as draft specialist), whereby he was able to constantly expand his network of agents, team managers and players. His main job is currently as a CRM consultant for a big German company, but he is ready to devote himself 100% to basketball again at any time.
