STRENGHTS WEAKNESSESS
  • very good all-around athlete, explosiveness and speed are well above his age group
  • his strong body helps him to slash inside and increases his shoot percentage in traffic
  • versatile on creating offense, has the ability to pull-up, play isolation or penetrate to the rim
  • always plays with high intensity, never gives up
  • finesse transition threat
  • lockdown defender whenever he wants, not always focused though
  • gets into the passing lanes continuously
  • holds the ball too much in some sequences
  • bad decision making, sometimes tries to take over the game all by himself
  • average body, his size is barely enough for Professional level to play small forward
OUTLOOK
Onuralp has already 4 major FIBA championship appereances under his belt and made his point in all of them with proficient showings in each of them. He was with Huntington Prep last season but came back to play with Anadolu Efes again in Turkey. He is now trying to get back on track, his stock decreased a little after coming back from overseas.
