Wojciech Tomaszewski

Height: 197cm – 6’6’’
Born: 20.02.2002
Nationality: Poland
Position: Wing
Current team: Anwil

RANK:
Of 2002 Generation

OVERVIEW
Wojtek is the son of Bartlomiej Tomaszewski who is 6’9 former long time pro who played in best domestic clubs and was also member of national team. Currently father is the GM of Biofarm Basket Poznan which is very progressive youth academy with seniors participating in Polish 2nd tier. There is one more Tomaszewski in the roster – 1998 born older brother who plays as a guard. However Wojciech seems to have the highest basketball upside from whole family. He is already standing slightly over 6’5 and possess really long arms. Mostly plays as wing but has notable playmaking skills as well. He is aggressive slasher who is very opportunistic to score once he gets the ball. Moreover he is really bouncy and it’s easy to picture him becoming great athlete for European basketball standards. Still has plenty of room to mature physically. Somewhat raw but with outstanding defensive potential. In 2016/2017 season he was invited to participate with Gran Canaria in prestigious Torneig de Farners in Spain. He also had offers and tryouts in Italy.
