Vrenz Bleijenbergh

Height: 205cm – 6’9’’
Born: 14.10.2000
Nationality: Belgium
Position: Forward
Current team: Antwerp

RANK:Of 2000 Generation

STRENGHTS WEAKNESSESS
  • already very good size. May have 1 or 2 inches left in him
  • very fluid for that size
  • unselfish. Great passer with nice handles for someone standing at 6’9. Can run pick and roll occassionally
  • shows intriguing defensive potential. Moves quick on his feet, well coordinated. Stays in front on perimeter
  • able to mix both forward positions. Enough size for stretch 4 and enough skill to play as point forward
  • smooth shooter. A bit narrow feet set but makes it really automatic with extremely repeatable motion. Can come off screens and excels in pick & pop
  • very good defensive rebounder
  • considerable upside given his current abilities, being far from reaching full athletic potential and time to shore up his weaknessess
  • shooting heavy style of playing
  • could be more aggressive attacker in half court
  • seems like a comfort zone guy
  • improved but narrow frame. On a light side. Doesn’t welcome physicality
OUTLOOK
Vrenz Bleijenbergh is a Forward with very good length who specialized in three point shooting and passing. His physical development is in early stage and there is enough time for young Belgian prospect to improve toughness and slashing ability as tools and talent are definitely there. It is easy to picture him having very good pro career. Must follow moving forward.
