STRENGHTS WEAKNESSESS
  • has a long body and wingspan, which is still developing at that level
  • impressively mobile compared to his peer, goes both ends like a guard
  • his athleticism both laterally and horizontally are very good at that point and promises a lot for the future
  • very calm finishing around the rim with his nice finishing fundamentals, has a soft touch
  • has the potential for being a strech-big, has range up to 3pt range and mechanics seem quick and fluent
  • gets involved in rebounds a lot, positions himself very well in the paint
  • good team player, does not make many poor decisions on offense
  • above average passer for a center
  • defensive game needs improvement, sometimes lacks the concentration to follow his match-up. He has to play much harder on defense
  • a lot of bulk needs to be added to his body to fill out his frame, which is  actually a long-term issue as he is still developing
  • no visible low-post game is available at that point.
  • gets lost in some sequences in game
OUTLOOK
Tarık Sezgün was always considered as a huge potential but after his unexpected good showing in U16 European Championship last summer his stock increased dramatically. He gets enough playing time in Turkish U19 League to show his capacity. He is a very social guy with solid mentality and work ethic. If he gets stronger in one year strech, he will gain much more  confidence in himself which will affect his output in the games.
