STRENGHTS WEAKNESSESS
  • good size for PG at 6’4 with long arms
  • nice fluidity and coordination. Very smooth in everything he does
  • quite explosive for European guard. Quick enough first step
  • attacks closeouts effectively. Nice body control hangtime and long stride. Can sometimes finish with surprisingly good layup in difficult situation
  • readily moves the ball around in offense but also good cutter without it
  • more than less positive defender. Tries to use his length to contest shots. Has problems chasing over screens though
  • plays with determination. Looks very developable
  • shooting is streaky and release could be more pure and faster
  • slender body with not so broad shoulders
  • needs to work on decisions. Makes mistakes like killing the dribble or passing with bad timing frequently
  • unpolished with ways to go
  • right handed heavy as ball handler
OUTLOOK
Fofana father comes from Mali. He shows nice progress over the years as he was cut down from national U16 team and two years later become major contributor at U18 stage. He seems to still have a lot of room for improvement. Joined Woodstock Academy in USA after summer 2017.
