ARISTIDE MOUAHA & OUSMANE DIOP – While Paul Eboua is clearly the most heavily scouted “stranieri” from this generation in Italy, there is more intriguing prospects who originally come black continent. Aristide Mouaha first caught attention during Adidas Next Generation tournament in Kaunas where he played on loan for Stellazzurra. Power guard can slash defense to death, make coast to coast slaloms and is fearless reliable finisher around the rim who can hit iso three if you choose to step back to prevent his drive. He is currently taking Serie B by storm in HSC Rome which took Stella’s license.

Another selected prospect by us is Ousmane Diop. Strong bodied, energetic and very nimble big guy who is not limited to inside contribution. Senegalese born player already had solid showings internationally with Dinamo Sassari in FIBA Europe Cup and can be really dominant while assigned to affiliated Cagliari based team in Serie A2. Somewhat mature profile brings some doubts in either case of mentioned prospects from obvious reasons.

superior strength for 18 years old. Clears space in grown man league really agile and light on his feet for a little thickly build player. Outruns opponents on 4-5 positions outstanding rebounding effort especially on attacking glass good finisher with off – left hand decent feel for African player. Finds the open lanes without the ball plays very hard. Decent & willing screener already solid straight line driver	overagressiveness causes foul troubles still very basic in the post. Has tools to function there better mechanics is solid but lacks three point or long mid range shooting consistency
OUTLOOK
Ousmane Diop achieved rare level of productivity for 18 years old prospect in strong Italian A2 League where he plays on 2 years long loan from Virtus Feletto. He started to play basketball quite early at the age of 8 and arrived to Italy in 2013. Blessed with nice strength, agility and quickness combination can play small ball center position and keeps developing legitimate modern PF skillset.
