Nessah had another solid tournament. Whenever he entered the floor, the Swiss stood out with his well-developed frame which he utilized on both ends. He remained great body control against contact around the basket and regularly managed to outmuscle his opponents on the offensive glass, giving his team valuable second chances. Nessah did also find his teammates with dump offs and usually did not get tunnel vision. Barca’s coaching staff gave him a few chances as a ball handler, but the results were mixed. The main reasons for avoidable mistakes in these situations were some sloppy passes as well as handling struggles against increased pressure. Defensively, his strength once again proved to be his biggest asset. Nessah was able to take bumps, tagged the roll well and managed to hold up against bigs in the post. On the perimeter though, his hip turns against ball handlers occasionally appeared to be a tad too slow. Overall, Nessah remains a promising player with 3&D potential who needs to be tracked going forward, especially if he can keep up this kind of shooting. Nessah had the following averages: 15pts, 8,3rebs, 2ass, 1,8stls, 45,2 2FG%, 55,6 3FG%, 70,8 FT%, 32.3mins

“The Swiss army knife” but not because he is from Switzerland but because he is multifunctional. He can do it all and statistically he was amongst the best players at the tournament. He played in many different roles and was good as a catch & shoot shooter or as pick & roll operator. The shooting release could get quicker but he was making shots in high percentages so on the other hand “don’t fix if not broken.” His feel for baseline cuts is on elite level and he can do a lot of damage with a good playmaker that can spot him and deliver the pass on time. Dayan is versatile in defense too and covered many different positions and did his job on the defensive end. A useful team player that can fit in many roles but it is tough to say what is his ceiling.

Dayan was one of the youngest participants in the tournament, but that didn’t stop him from having a really good showing.Tough, intelligent kid, with decent size, length and already fairly developed and stong body for his age. Great individual as well as team defender. Plays with a lot of effort, does a lot of small things that might go unnoticed, understands the angles and is capable of covering all perimeter positions already at this level with noticeable success. Offensively, although he had some interesting moments trying to penetrate inside, quickly filling lanes in transition as well as showing from time-to-time his playmaking skills. He was mainly and understandably somewhat of an opportunistic scorer at this stage, cutting off–ball inside showing good timing, knocking down shots given open position or getting matters into his own hands by fighting through traffic and getting offensive rebounds. A must follow prospect.
