STRENGHTS WEAKNESSESS
  • great height for a shooting guard. Well proportioned frame that will definitely fill out very nicely. Can occasionally play both forward position
  • displays polished footwork, good body control and long strides. Gets to the rim although being average athlete
  • shows sound ball handling skills. Has some hard to stop go-to moves. Can really shake his defender
  • capable of knocking down the shoots off the dribble on the perimeter in a good rhythm
  • versitale scorer in general. Has a notable creativity to finish the play with fancy lay up
  • very active on the offensive end. Opportunistic attacker
  • has a good defensive anticipation and quick hands
  • shows even some playmaking ability. Advanced passer on the move. Good sense of timing
  • unconventional shooting form. Has questionable one handed release
  • not overly explossive. Rarely gets over the rim
  • has good ball fakes and ability to put the ball on the floor but first step is slow. Sometimes starts from travelling or chooses very difficult type of play
  • can’t force his way if craftiness fails. Playing with the ball through a lot of contact can end up as a turnover
  • average lateral quickness. Approach is a bit selective. Can fight for a rebound and rotate quickly but not an aggressive on ball defender. Doesn’t like to fight over screens
OUTLOOK
Lundqvist picked up the basketballl very early because of family influence. Father is a coach and other members also were involved in the game. He possess not only advanced skillset but also IQ. If his physicality can get closer to his craft he can find a place for himself on the highest level not only in Europe.
