STRENGHTS WEAKNESSESS
  • amazing all-around athleticism, runs the floor with pace especially in transition. Impressive first step and quickness
  • very good wingspan allows him to be a great defender, nightmare match-up on defense
  • effective slasher when he gets the chance
  • improved shooter but scores more inside penetrating through isolation play
  • nice passer, makes the right extra passes
  • defensive awareness is above average. Makes lots of steals by poking or getting into passing lanes
  • inconsistent, he has been unable to preserve his performance in back-to- back games throughout his youth team career
  • needs to become a better shooter. Not showed much of shooting over dribble.
  • decisions leaves a question mark. Forces the ball to much in some circumstances
OUTLOOK
Muhaymin Mustafa growing a couple of inches last year now has the body of a small forward, which is when compared with his great athletic abilities composes huge potential. He was a member of Turkish U17 NT that acquired the silver medal but his performances were questioned mostly because of poor percantage. When he sustains his high level performances for a long stride he can be considered as one of the most important players of his generation.
