STRENGHTS WEAKNESSESS
  • stands at solid 6’5 for a shooting guard
  • not toned at the moment but body can improve
  • possess sweet stroke. Good perimeter pull ups and can really light it up from the 3pt line. Quite quick trigger, high release point. Never hesitates to get it off when given little space
  • unselfish with good selection for a shooter. Stays in his role doesn’t need big usage to be efficient
  • can play on or off the ball with either success as far as using screens
  • has good bloodlines. Solid feel and basketball IQ
  • underwhelming athlete. Possess just ok quickness
  • has some troubles to stay in front matching up with speedy guards
  • doesn’t have much wiggle with the ball to lose his defender
  • one dimensional shooting game
  • Helps as ball handler but only to cross the half court and start offense. Doesn’t have offensive organisation skills. Prefers handling it with his right. Operates at one speed
OUTLOOK
Jurkatamm moved out to Italy starting from the 2016/2017 season. His 6’9 brother Taavi plays college basketball for San Francisco Dons. Mikk possess shot based game and can really excel in that role. With improved athleticism and maybe also defense he can continue doing his thing in very good European leagues.
