| Born in Belgium as son of a professional volleyball player and a coach now, Matija is a kid from a sports family. His mother played table tennis on a high level in youth and uncle was also a volleyball player. He is tall and long for his age, especially regarding the fact he plays most of the time outside. Frame may be a bit narrow, but he has not reach physical maturity yet so it remains to be seen. Has the necessary range to knock down a 3 and can pull up after a dribble or two. Works on improving his game a lot. Resourceful when it comes to finishing around the rim, knows how to use his advantages. With all that said, ball handling is average and moves he makes are limited. Definitely at a point in his development when he needs to change setting and move to a bigger club and more importantly to play against better competition day in and out. Does almost everything in one speed. Has to change gears and rhythm more often to continue to be effective. |
