U16 OVERVIEW
After impressive performances last season, Luka had a down year. At this point, he is really struggling in U17 basketball, but that should not be taken as a fatal blow to his stocks because he still has a year left of eligibility and Mega has an abundance of talent so it is not always easy to get on the court. One of the reasons is lack of growth as he looks out of place with a wing skillset and PG height. Needs to find a way to reimagine his game because talent is still there. Will be hard for him to play the wing position with this height so he needs to work on his ball handling and shooting to become a legit combo guard. Right now he can bring the ball up the court here and there and he has good court vision but he needs to do all of that on a constant basis. Confidence is also down as a result and he shot abysmal 15% from 3pt line in U17 League. It doesnt need to mean a lot as he is still a kid, but it calls for caution. He is still regarded as an important prospect in Serbia and will most likely get a chance with NT this summer to regain his momentum.
