U16 OVERVIEW | |

Luc Davd Van Slooten is a native of Quakenbruck which is small town in Germany known recently from producing good basketball players. His talent became apparent quickly as he not only took part in FIBA U16 European Championship as 14 year old but also was integral contributor for his team. The following summer his role was even bigger and he is very likely to dominate it against peers. Luc flirted with some of the top Spanish academies in the past as he played Endesa Minicopa with Sevilla and U15 Torneig De Farners with Barcelona. Van Slooten is a swingman with great positional size. At 6’8 he is blessed with rare skills and tools combination for a player his age. He has a strong developed frame and is solid athlete. His offensive game is really well rounded. He plays a lot with the ball, can drive to the hoop, makes outside shots with very clean mechanics and dunks in transition with ease. Currently he plays episodes but regular with Rasta Vechta which is best team in Pro A – German 2nd tier. |
