| Lorenzo Guerrieri comes from Pisa. He obviously had interest from the best domestic academies like Milano or Reggio Emilia but decided to join FC Barcelona at the age of 14 after previously playing for Juve Pontedera. He was 202cm at that time and participated in U15 Italian national finals as underaged player. He was invited to take part in 2017 Adidas Eurocamp in Treviso. Lorenzo can play either 4 and 5 position but needs to improve handles in order to be able to put the ball on floor. He possess interesting shooting skills and good touch around the rim. He is well coordinated and strong which helps to stop opponents in post up situations but needs to improve his athleticism as he often looks fatigue and lacks explosiveness badly. It is visible on defensive end where he gets punished by quicker players. Early transfer to Barca suggested he may be one of the best bigs from this generation in Europe but it doesn’t seem too obvious anymore. |
