| Jakub comes from Bydgoszcz in Poland where he played for club named “Novum”. He emerged as a one of the top prospects in his country from very loaded 2002 generation. Ulczynski made rare and a little questionable decision to take his talents to USA at the age of 14. He overcame terrible homesick and now doesn’t want to hear about coming back to Europe. Participated in FIBA U16s as year younger that competition but posses pretty maximized frame. However should have 1-2 inches left considering that father is 6’10 (used to be a solid potential but suffered career ending injury). Kuba is aggressive attacker in half court who can force the way to the rim with his strength but shows also some crafty finishes. Three point shot is really improving. Not the highest IQ for now. Year or two in Europe before college would be great for him. Could even possibly end up as mid major prospect with better passing, awareness and versitality regarding his athletic & scoring abilities. Currently plays for Mountain Mission in Virginia and looks forward to transfering to better school. |
