Gilad Levy

Nationality: Israel
Position: Big
Current team: Estudiantes

RANK:
Of 2002 Generation

U16 OVERVIEW
First we saw Gilad Levi on international stage at U16 Budva Basketball Cup. He didn’t log the big minutes but stood out immediately with his size as he stands at 7’1. In fact entire family is very tall – he has two older brothers: 1996 and 1998 born who are respectively 217 and 208 centimeters tall. However they were not on any youth teams and the youngest from family seems to have the best talent. Based on upside alone he considerably belongs to Top 30 list of his generation at this point. He is capable of putting the ball on the floor and even going coast to coast at times. 2017/2018 is his breakout season and he is on pace to become MVP of U16 league in Israel (also participates in U18 competition). Beside unusual skills for player his size he is pretty quick but also lean, somewhat unfluid and hunched. Also definitely not the best finisher through contact. This is a bit worrying considering  his brother had bad body type for professional sport.
