Elias Rödl is the son of former North Carolina 6’7 shooting guard/small forward and long-time-pro Hendrik Rödl. Father spend entire career in Alba Berlin and his #4 jersey has been retired by the club. Currently he is head coach of senior national team. Elias is a 6-5 SG/SF who can shoot off the bounce and has decent touch. Has a strong body frame. Natural bucket getter with some instincts. Won JBBL Top 4 MVP in 2017 with ALBA. Not super explosive but can finish above the rim in space. Average first step and lateral quickness. Lacks quickness to be a good defender at the pro level but plays with some toughness. May become a pro player in Europe down the stretch but doesn‘t ooze with upside.
