| Elias Baggette was born to German and American parents. He plays in TuS Lichterfelde where he makes a great duo with other 2002 born prospect – Lamin Sabally. Elias is recruited basically by all top academies in Germany and may finally leave TuSli after 2017/2018 season. He is a starter in youth national team and played Adidas Next Generation tournament in Munich with Brose Bamberg. At the moment he can be one of the best point guards in Europe from his generation but unfortunately long term perspective is not equally optimistic for him as especially lack of height may hamper his potential on the next level (currently stands around 5’11 and looks quite developed. However his quickness and handles combination is really impressing. While playing against the peers, Baggette is extremely difficult to keep in front and he can really dance with the ball. Besides good motor, he has some touch to finish with the floater or outside shot and his basketball IQ is at least ok. |
