U16 OVERVIEW
Brother of Besiktas Sompo Japan player Can Maxim Mutaf, David is not an ordinary Turkish youth player and his game style is very intriguing. He is crafty with the ball and excels at creating his own shot with dribbling and high variety of crossovers. Terrific release and he is a proper shooter around the perimeter. Lefty guard is also a decent player but likes to play with the ball a lot and sometimes seems a bit selfish.  Just an average athlete for now, can slash inside with good reading of defensive rotations. He still needs to improve his decision making as he tries to much to get into rhythm. Defensive effort is questionable especially when he struggles to find his shot on offense. Likes to cut passing lanes instead of defending with high intensity. He plays more as a combo guard for now and overall effectiveness on point guard is just OK. Has the potential to play point guard in the future if he develops his offensive awareness.  In a few years, he might be able to crack the roster of a BSL team.
