STRENGHTS WEAKNESSESS
  • already acceptable size for PG. Born in late December
  • true point guard with natural feel for the game
  • high standard of creativity, court vision and decision making
  • tremendous ball distributor in transition and half-court offense. Passes are very precise
  • can find a solution in very difficult situation. Lets his emotions show after good plays
  • really fluid and shifty. Has a long strides in transition
  • displays very good defensive anticipation
  • decent-looking shooting form and touch on floaters but plays on low percentage. for now Especially behind the three point line
  • on the light side. Not so wide frame. Can be bothered by opposing players strength
  • good ball handler but carries the ball a bit in isolation moves
  • willing defender who rotates quickly but can be dominated by good athletes on his position
OUTLOOK
Carlos is a son of former pro – Alberto Alocen. He already made a debut in Liga Endesa as a third the youngest player ever. He is gifted playmaker who is somewhat limited by lack of physicality at the moment. He stands out with his IQ and ability to make quick reads on the floor. If he is able to improve his frame to survive defensively and become a bit more proficient as a shooter he can be another highly-rated Spanish Point Guard.
