STRENGHTS WEAKNESSESS
  • physical specimen. Very large pair of shoulders. Built like a NFL linebacker
  • can dominate inside with his enormous strength. Plays through contact and pain. Makes and1 plays
  • real beast. Sometimes may need a spark to put in work but can out-hustle everyone on the court with his toughness
  • can elevate off two feet for a powerful dunk
  • very good rebounder. Able to clear out the space in traffic and grab the ball. Takes pride in being good in this category
  • decent low post game. Can make semi-hook with his right hand. Good enough footwork and balance. Can spin and use up & under move
  • sees nothing but rim around the basket. Tries very questionable attempts surrounded by multiple defenders
  • has defensive potential but needs to improve the fundamentals. Offensive effort seems to be harder
  • early stage of development as a perimeter player. Executes some mid-post moves and turnaround jumpers but quickness and fluidity leave a lot to be desired
  • stiff touch in left hand
  • mobility and quickness are quite impressive but operates at half speed too much
  • IQ and court awareness is a work in progress. May not be able to do much if you take away his physicality
OUTLOOK
Faye was born in Dakar, Senegal. He is extremely overmature player for his age group from physical standpoint. He produces very good numbers but is neither a creative finisher nor a fairly talented player at all. Developing more of Power Forward skillset and improving teamwork are crucial regarding his transition for professional basketball. As well as playing up to his defensive potential.
