STRENGHTS WEAKNESSESS
  • great height with acceptable wingspan (about 219 cm) and frame
  • natural talent and tremendous feel for the game
  • unique skillset for Center – very good shooting mechanics and range beyond three point line. Also ball handling is exceptional for 16 yo above 7 foot player
  • capable passer from spot up situations and after rolling to the basket – also on the move
  • very good mobility with still room for improvement – recovering fully from injuries + done growing
  • can finish a play around the basket using either hand with style – very soft hands, can make good fakes and has a sense of opponent position
  • upside in face to the basket game
  • good enough rebounding effort and protecting the rim instincts
  • not enough explosive yet altough being mobile – doesn’t get to the rim when attacking closeout on the regular but can pass the ball out and has a long stride. This can become his another asset
  • doesn’t show much activity in setting up low post position
  • takes too risky decision at times -especially passing wise
  • needs to work a lot on lateral coordination to be become better pick and roll defender and to be able to defend smaller players in space
  • does he have enough toughness? Looks too graceful on the court
OUTLOOK
Olek comes from basketball family. His father is a professional wheelchair player (used to play professionaly before the accident) and head coach of Polish National team in this kind of basketball. He is a Center with rare face up game and court stretching ability which makes him potential NBA Draft first rounder if he stays healthy.
