STRENGHTS WEAKNESSESS
  • 7 foot wingspan. Moves unbelievably light on his feet. Very smooth for 6’10 guy
  • longish strides and good leaper in space. Agile can change direction while driving
  • great size for forward who can possibly make a jump to 3 position
  • energetic. Has tools to excel as rebounder
  • shows promise as a shooter with ok mechanics. Hits jumpers from deep mid range Good FT %
  • very good defensive potential. Good lateral movement. Chases to block shots
  • has a small repertoire of post moves with not bad footwork. Can be his asset to use positional height advantage when body fills out
  • not really tested by apriopprate competition. Can he survive a transition to strong team and how much time it would take?
  • still a bit light side. Gets pushed out of his way
  • quite well rounded but still not overly polished skillset. Handles can be loose at times, commits turnovers
  • handle in off left hand
  • 3pt shooting. May be developable in future considering touch and mid range J but as for now barely existing
OUTLOOK
AJ Edu is still mistery but with amazing potential. Possess very interesting life story as he was born in Cyprus to Phillipine and Nigerian parents. Lived also in Wales and currently resides in England gaining accolades in youth leagues. Upside is through the roof but we will see if transition to better level goes smoothly.
