STRENGHTS WEAKNESSESS
  • made a significant growth. Around 6’4 with good length
  • very explosive and bouncy
  • hard to keep in front especially in open court. Bulldozes his way to the rim. Much stronger than anyone on his position
  • shows flashes of being capable shooter. Agile, has a nice footwork to create off the bounce
  • definitely two way. Can play lockdown defense against both backcourt spots
  • perfect in using contact. Draws a lot of fouls
  • plays with as much heart as anyone. Poised
  • pick and roll skills
  • much better in creating offense for himself. Involving the teammates is not very good
  • needs overall polish as PG for example quicker decision making process
  • can force or attack at reckless abandon at times
OUTLOOK
Nigerian Ade Adebayo is extremely interesting late bloomer. He possess elite physical profile for a guard and can impact the game on both ends of the floor. He needs to polish his playmaking qualities to have brighter future but soon he probably won’t be out of radar anymore.
