Isaac Bonga has been one of the most highly regarded prospects in Europe from an early age on. Possessing an outstanding feel for the game and great basketball instincts to go along with good fluidity, intangibles and defensive potential, it‘s impossible to count him out as a lottery pick in 2018. Bonga, who is coming from a soccer family, will need to develop his frame, his scoring ability and finishing to reach his full potential. One year ago he was still playing with Koblenz in the Regionalliga (4th division) against weak competition, he will still need time to adapt his playing to the highest levels. His parents come fron Congo and his older brother Tarsis is a professional soccer player in Düsseldorf, Isaac Bonga‘s younger brother Joshua is playing basketball in Koblenz. |
