Recap: Munich Adidas Next Generation Tournament
TIMO LANMUELLER (6’3, Guard, Ratiopharm Ulm) – Offensive minded guy with relentless attacking style. Kinda lives and dies because of that. Definitely not a true PG which decreases the ceiling. 6’3 with just adequate frame but has motor and scoring instincts. Will be very good bucket getter in every youth basketball setting but doesn’t seem overly translatable for pro basketball. Probably solid mid/low Beko BBL level or small role with Ratiopharm seniors.

STRENGHTS WEAKNESSESS
  • okay frame. Not bad athlete at all for Euro guard
  • straight baller. Really plays with confidence
  • energetic. Never misses a chance to speed the game up. Very good quickness
  • prolific shot maker who creates own offense. Has high level scoring instincts
  • above average three point shooter
  • engaged defensively. Good guarding on & off the ball
  • next play mentality rare for European player
  • playmaking skills could be better. Wants to play as PG but not polished in setting the tone for the team or playing pick & roll
  • out of control at times. Can be turnover prone
  • low release point can harm him a little on the next level
  • tends to make things difficult basically for no reason
OUTLOOK
Timo Lanmueller was born in Vienna and holds also Austrian passport. He is definitely not the one you should bet against. He may not look like a mega talent but always gets it done for his team. He is on the way to become solid Beko BBL pro thanks to his electrifying style and ability to get buckets.
