U16 OVERVIEW
Matus Sedlak is a promising big man from Slovakia. While playing in domestic team Inter Bratislava, he drew a serious attention from Real Madrid. However he currently resides in German powerhouse – Alba Berlin as his father also moved to that city because of work. He already stands close to 6’11 and is blessed with perfect athletic predispositions which would probably allow him to excel in many sports. He has a well proportioned frame, strong legs and runs the court with speed & fluidity typical for one foot smaller guards his age. Thinking long term his position most likely will be power forward and he is already being given some minutes on 4. As for now he mostly makes simple straight line drives against close-outs where his long strides and ability to play above the rim are very helpful. However there is still a lot of work to do. He needs to improve his touch and ultimately start stretching the court. Also feel and understanding of the game are not suitable for high even youth level at the moment.  Anyway if everything goes right down the stretch I believe he has a good upside given his tools and progress pace.
