STRENGHTS WEAKNESSESS
  • long-limbed. Good size and even better wingspan
  • solidly coordinated with the very long stride. Runs the floor well
  • shows flashes of attacking from the perimeter
  • can find the open lanes to receive passess off the penetration
  • tries some hook shoots with little success. Can become adequate non dunk finisher with his reach and not bad touch
  • good attitude. Dives for the ball, runs back quickly to D
  • notable rebounder. Uses his length and instincts to pursue loose balls
  • good timing as a shot-blocker. Defensive potential is definitely there but gets too deep in rotation
  • has been making serious progress as a shooter
  • very thin upper body. Has a long way to go in this regard
  • lack of strength can hurt him at times. Can get pushed out of the penetration lane and lost the ball
  • rarely finishes with the dunk. Should add this as he is very light and mobile
  • does not feel comfortable as a screen setter
  • slow with decision making
OUTLOOK
Luka is a must follow player going forward although his game is much more about potential than serious skillset at the moment. He is obviously compared a lot to Jakub Poetl because of similar physical profile. He needs to add strength badly and be finally tested by better competition than Austrian 2nd Division every week. Brajkovic may not top the achievement of his role model and become the second drafted player from this country but he undoubtedly has tools to make a name for himself on a high level of competition.
