STRENGHTS WEAKNESSESS
  • decent strength and wingspan
  • very enthusiastic on the court. Attentive to teammates. Good energy
  • not quick or athletic but really well conditioned. Constantly in motion
  • loves to have the ball but doesn’t force plays. Looks smart and disciplined
  • pretty good overall skillset. Can handle a bit in transition, steps out for three pointers with decent form, Will attack close out at times
  • can use his body skillfully for his advantage. Especially around the rim to create a space and score
  • tremendous rebounder. Has tools and instincts
  • pretty much maximized frame. Not a lot of room for improvement in this regard
  • definitely not explosive. May start some drives from the travel
  • may get hyperactive at times and interrupt driving lanes of his own teammates
  • lacks significant size for 4-man position which he is more suitable and adjusted for
OUTLOOK
Nik Dragan came to Olimpija Ljublana from Krka Nove Mesto. He is a lefty combo forward with strong build and flashes of all around game. He exceled and finished with great stats on some of the big international tournaments but in big degree it happened thanks to his early physical maturation. He is below average athlete even by European standards so working on his body and quickness are huge part to improve his face up game and more of Small Forward type of abilities. Otherwise he may stay in his role but not on the highest level of competition out here.
