MATE FAZEKAS (6’11, Center, Ratiopharm Ulm) – He may lack the foot speed and be too chubby to have any NBA chances but still is very exciting prospect for high European level. Pick and roll defense is big problems where he is slow to recover and gets punished by quick guards who excel in two man game. Very smart player with all proper instincts. Can really shoot it with three point range. Creates for himself in post up situations with polished footwork either in the paint or on the perimeter where he is capable of making turnaround jumpers. Gets leaner and leaner but doesn’t look like the type of player who easily stays in shape off season.

STRENGHTS	WEAKNESSESS
good physical profile. Standing at 6’11 with solidly built upper and lower frame steps out for occasional three pointers with success plays hard. Decent screener, can clear out the space for teammates uses his body well to establish solid post position good mid post moves. Nice footwork and body control to hit turnaround jumper notable rebounding effort and instincts. Can tip the ball for himself smart player. Can share the ball from top of the key	moves ok but more mobile than quick average shape. Looks a bit chubby slow to recover in pick and roll defense. Would struggle badly against NBA guards below the rim player. Solid defensive fundamentals but blocking shots is not his weapon lacks driving ability short arms
OUTLOOK
Mate Fazekas is considered one of the best big man from 2000 generation in Europe. He transfered to Ulm from Gyor when he was 14 and is now fulfilling 5 year deal with the team. He has always been dominant inside against peers but really made strides to offer more than just efficiency on the block. Hungarian center is important contributor in U19 NBBL team as underaged player and the hope of Ratiopharm seniors.
