  • outstanding frame which should fill out nicely over the years
  • quick for his height. Moves very fluidly, can control the body well. Very effective in transition
  • can play both forward positions thanks to his offensive versitality – good straight line driver, promising as a shooter. Also can attack from the perimeter and has an ability to finish low post plays – thanks to quick spins & good footwork
  • weakside defense – great timing for help blocks. Does it on the regular
  • decent rebounder – used to play a bit as a center before and it pays off
  • defensive potential – ability to pick up smaller guards and defend them in space
  • quick leaper – light on his feet
  • above average ball handler especially regarding height but not really able to create a shoot in isolation at this stage or pass off the live dribble
  • toughness and defensive effort could be harder – the way he screens or defends strong players on the low block
  • may need a little tweak in shooting mechanics
  • average length for elite standards – wingspan is just slightly bigger than height
Luka has basketball in his genes. His father, Marko, played professionally basketball on high-level in Europe and he is currently General Manager of Kvarner Rijeka, Croatian first division team. Luka is one of the best prospects in his age group in Europe and has clear-cut NBA potential.
