STRENGHTS WEAKNESSESS
  • solid built especially in the lower body
  • has narrow feet set but very good three point shooter with time and space
  • handles are not tight yet but court vision and passing skills are fairly good
  • likes to be around the ball. Makes effort to cover up for his lack of explosiveness with flair, hesitations and ability to change direction. Good in drive and kick offense
  • very focused and even-keeled
  • sits down in very good defensive stance. Body can contain dribble penetration
  • not off the charts athlete. Looks a bit heavy running the floor
  • could speed up his release which looks also mechanical
  • needs to work on coordination and footwork to avoid travelling
  • type of player who does a little bit of everything. Unlikely to have any elite skill
  • could use his body more to draw & stand the contact and get to the free throw line
OUTLOOK
Kayouloud was one of the discoveries at FIBA World U17 Championships in Spain. He is a player who feels very comfortable playing with the ball for a swingman. Despite lack of burst can get to the rim surprisingly good. He transfered from Orleans to OAK Hill Academy before 2016/2017 season. With his strength and improved athleticism can be even more dangerous offensively. This player has a potential to become valuable Point Forward with a chance for a long career in good French teams.
