STRENGHTS WEAKNESSESS
  • huge upper body, very strong in the post
  • has polished moves down low, finishes through contact with both hands. High percentage
  • nice half court player, makes the right passes when he backs down opposition players.
  • improved face up in the last couple of years, uses basic dribble moves to get into a better position for scoring
  • has range up to three point line, decent looking shooting stroke
  • efficient rebounder due to his acknowledgement of the court and positioning
  • durable defender in the post
  • boxes out opponents to get rebounds
  • lacks quickness and pace which limits his potential immensively
  • has problems knowing when to come to help defense, average defensive recognition at most

OUTLOOK
Ahmet Can Duran joined Fenerbahce in 2014, and then he started to improve his game on a high note. Always been a high IQ offensive threat, Duran’s face-up game and passing skills makes him unique. He also made a great work on his body and finally seems to maintain better shape. Already been selected to best five in youth tournaments couple of times, he has the potential to be a contributor in the Europe.
