STRENGHTS WEAKNESSESS
  • sports really good V shaped frame. Definitely nice strength for the guard
  • great tools overall. Wingspan exceeds 6’8
  • has penetration ability. Looks like promising creator in drive and kick
  • lacks elite explosiveness but strides has solid length. Draws contact, has nice body control
  • quite under control for the guy whose contribution comes from physical advantage not actual skillset
  • much above average around the rim finisher for guard
  • willing and improved defender. Can even become specialist on this end. Generates many steals and easy opportunities in transition
  • low and not fundamentally sound shooting technique. Must improve moving forward. Doesn’t defend himself with FG percentage
  • classic stuck between definition of point guard and shooting guard. Lacks high level feel, can’t really shot. Needs to be teamed up with apprioprate backcourt partner to use him
  • has all the assets to be good multipositional defender but still lacks fundamentals on this end

OUTLOOK
Karlton Dimanche comes from Guyana and idolizes two of his countrymen Damien Inglish and Kevin Seraphin who made it to the NBA. He joined Cholet basket during the summer of 2015. He has a chance to become intriguing two way player for all the best French Pro A teams. Needs to work on shooting and keeps refining playmaking feel.
