Darko Bajo (Split): born in 1999. Wasn’t getting much opportunity in ABA league when he played for Cedevita and decided to join Split last season after the Cedevita-Olimpija merger. This decision has proven to be the right one for him since he had a really good season. Averaged 10 points and 5 rebounds in 25 minutes in ABA2 League and could put similar numbers to the board this season too even though the competition and toughness level is much higher in ABA1 League. Athletic big, that can play on both big positions, had some good matches in preparations, even made some highlight reels. Good post up player that has the strength, footwork and feel to create separation down under. Can also stretch the floor but needs to improve as a shooter. He should be one of the main players from Split this season and should get enough opportunity to prove himself on the highest regional level.

STRENGHTS	WEAKNESSESS
excellent strength and bulked up frame with 6-11 foot wingspan High level of athleticism. Jumps high of two feet. Can finish above the rim and use bounce to collect the rebound able to play both forward positions with equal success good versitality. Has some guard skills in big man’s body has strong defensive stance. Good perimeter defender who can be a low-post stopper as well on his position capable long mid range shooter who also has worthy mid-post moves can drive in the straight lane. Really hard to stop force if goes towards the rim at full speed	dribbling with left hand. Doesn’t have good playmaking qualities at this moment. Can kill possession dribbling from side to side in half court passing accuracy on the move leaves a lot to be desired requires a lot of time and space to get the shoot off can grab and go but is not overly shifty – against smart and brave defenders can run into the wall can make a difference on the court with his toughness while mentally involved but apprioprate attitude comes and goes very often effort is really questionable at times. OUTLOOK
Bajo was born in Bosnia where his father played basketball professionally. He is an extremely intriguing combo forward – great athlete with high standard defensive tools. Darko can remind to some degree of Dario Saric but feel for the game and ability to create for others are much worse. He needs to specialize a bit more in some offensive department and solidify effort to contribute for the team to appear in the draft mocks.
