STRENGHTS WEAKNESSESS
  • a player. Recognizes small ins and outs of the game, used to playing against older players. Mature well above his age. Had sixth highest total index rating in the U19 League even though he was U17 eligible
  • good basketball IQ, feel for the game. Great intangibles. Rises to the occasion in big games. Developed a lot in a year
  • skillset matches prototypical stretch 4. Can make those 2-3 dribbles close out drives, knows to finish around the rim and can stretch the floor
  • fluid movement, strong body, yet mobile
  • very good 3p and shooting overall. Shot 84% FT, 61% 2p and 40% 3p in U19 League. Confident. Extremely dangerous in pick and pop situations
  • smart and reliable defender, good rebounder
  • height. Definitely the biggest concern about him as he is right there on the 2m line give or take and needs couple more cm to be considered a great prospect. At this level its not an issue but could limit him in professional basketball
  • he is a solid fluid athlete, but he lacks hops and that could show in pro ball because of height
  • in the past he had passive periods of game when he was too good for his own and good of the team
  • in Youth basketball he has found ways to score around the rim but at next level lack of elite athleticism and height could hurt him especially in this department
  • post up offense needs work
OUTLOOK
Bojan is a very interesting prospect with a perfect blend of old school and modern basketball qualities. He is a reliable player who knows to make ,,small” plays, a guy coach can depend on, and at the same time, his shooting puts him at the radar of scouts who are into modern 4s. The primary concern going forward will be if he is tall enough to play inside as it is not very likely he could reimagine himself as a small forward. His technical and motor skills are more than enough for a 4, but it wouldn’t cut it for a 3. Has little bit of Bojan Dubljević vibe, but if he wants to reach his level, Tomašević needs to work a lot, especially on his post game and body.
