STRENGHTS WEAKNESSESS
  • good size and wingspan for shooting guard position. Wide frame that should fill out nicely over the years. Good overall physicality
  • really impactful player on the defensive end. Perfect attitude and fundamentals. Ready to guard the best opponents
  • has an ability to fight over screens both on and off the ball. Possess strong legs and very good lateral coordination
  • length allows him to play step farther back and still contest the shoots very effectively when guarding backcourt position
  • not the purest stroke and footwork but fairly good in catch and shoot situations. Can make a simple one dribble pull up
  • opportunistic and energetic in transition either with or without the ball
  • solid off the ball. Can use the screens
  • tends to switch unnecessarily. Frame is still on the light side. Easy to back down
  • average passer. Feel for the game could be better. Can lose the ball in not so dangerous situations

OUTLOOK
Acoydan whose father comes from Ghana is a native of Las Palmas who joined Real Madrid youth teams at the age of 13. He is a hustle player and his energy can take him very high. His face up offense is still a work in progress but he does a good job of using his athleticism. If he can improve strength and polish shooting skills can become very valuable 3-and-D player.
