  • super polished overall skillset for U18 category
  • high basketball IQ. Knows how to play the game
  • advanced ball handler, able to create his own shoots with three point range
  • displays high level of creativity especially passing wise
  • great defensive anticipation
  • good and immediate decision maker
  • excellent free throw shooter
  • upper body on the light side
  • gets backed down by majority of players on his position
  • shows some occasional flair also while driving to the rim but limited as a finisher regarding average explosiveness, size and leaping
  • can have a stretch of virtuoso performance and then disappear
OUTLOOK
Sofiane has roots in Algeria. He started to play very quickly in youth teams of Asvel where he is finally returning after his time in CFBB. He is kind of player that everyone likes to watch. He can make really fancy, flashy plays like artist on his position (Prigioni, Rubio etc.) but his ceiling seems not to be that high. He needs to work a lot on his physical tools because being weaker than opponents seems to go to his head and affect playing style.
