PREDRAFT MEASUREMENTS

Evaluation 1999-2001

STRENGHTS WEAKNESSESS
  • great size, stands between 6‘9“ and 6‘10“ without shoes. Might have an inch or more left
  • fluid athlete. Not strong but moves well for his size. Really mobile
  • can play above the rim in space. Probably not near his physical peak
  • skilled for his size: Has some stretch potential. Fairly smooth mechanics. Solid free throw shooter. Advanced handle. Gets knocked off his path easily but can really put the ball on the floor
  • good feel. Makes the extra passes
  • high ceiling thanks to his combination of size, fluidity and skills offensively
  • extremely thin. Frame is years away from filling out. Likely he‘ll always be on the leaner side. Doesn‘t have wide shoulders. Gets pushed around on the glass with ease
  • inconsistent shooter. Can make shots but not reliable at all
  • average defensively, especially as a post defender. Struggles to find a body and to box out with his lack of strengths. Has solid instincts though
OUTLOOK
Daniel Zdravevski is an interesting long-term prospects as he has great size, can shoot a little bit and moves really well for his size. He‘s struggling to put it all together as his lack of strengths significantly limits his production. He decided to move to Munich this summer to improve physically and his overall skill-set. Even without the production and a disappointing U16 European Championship where he wasn‘t able to earn much palyint time, Zdravevski is certainly a name to follow due to his tools and upside.
